We are so excited to be a part of the alpaca community and this wonderful lifestyle. We had been investigating this business for about a year before we made our first purchase in January 08. We started with two pregnant females and a young male that we planned to show that year. Our plan is to spend the coming years learning as much as possible about these beautiful animals. We will start out agisting (boarding) our alpacas for the first few years while the herd grows and at the same time we'll also be looking for that perfect property that we feel is the right place to raise our alpacas.
Our goal for this business is to breed show quality alpacas with fine, dense fleece and excellent conformation. We are working on breeding up our females to the highest quality Herd Sires possible. So far our breeding program is heading in the right direction.
We plan to have a full service farm with support to all of our customers. We know how important it is to have good Mentors available at all times. We currently have 2 wonderful people from Rosehaven Alpacas to learn from and we appreciate them tremendously.

We are proud to announce the birth of Independence! Our new male Cria was born on the 4th of July 2010, weighing in at 16.6 lbs. He is a lovely medium brown color out of Avalon's Peruvian Granger who is a medium rose grey herd sire. We're hoping Inde turns rose gray just like his daddy! More to come about Inde.
